The three top teams Lausanne, Zug and ZSC Lions all win on Saturday in the National League. Fourth-placed Bern, on the other hand, lost for the third time in a row in overtime against Fribourg.

The ZSC Lions, who inflicted their first defeat on Lugano in their second game under new coach Uwe Krupp with a 4-1 loss, are the leaders in terms of points. The leader in points, Lausanne, returned to winning ways after two defeats with a 3-0 home win against Ajoie.

In between is Zug, who won 3-2 against the SCL Tigers for the sixth time in a row and are currently the league's most in-form team. The ZSC Lions are five points behind Lausanne and one behind Zug, with three and four games less respectively.

Fourth-placed SC Bern must be annoyed. They lost a derby against Fribourg-Gottéron in overtime or on penalties for the third time in a row in their 2-1 overtime defeat in Fribourg.

Genève-Servette put in a desolate performance in the 80th anniversary game of the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. The Geneva team, for whom the change of coach seems to have had no effect whatsoever, lost 3:7 on Lake Zurich.

In the battle for a place in the top 6, Kloten celebrated an important victory in a six-point game with a 3-2 win against Biel.
