The Winnipeg Jets with Nino Niederreiter can't find a way to win in their own stadium either. They lost 1:4 against the St. Louis Blues for the fourth time in a row.

After an initial high of 15 wins from the first 16 games of the season, Winnipeg has struggled in recent weeks. After losing three games away from home, the hoped-for success in front of a home crowd failed to materialize against the St. Louis Blues.

The Jets got on the wrong track in the middle third when they actually dominated with 19:3 shots on goal, but the visitors made it 2:0 in the 39th minute with a double strike within 39 seconds. Niederreiter remained scoreless for the fourth match in a row.

Pius Suter and the Vancouver Canucks also had to leave the ice as losers. The Zurich forward was beaten 2:3 after overtime by the Canucks at the Minnesota Wild despite leading twice. Suter was not involved in any of the Canucks' goals after scoring in three consecutive games.
