EHC Kloten has signed Swedish forward Pontus Aberg (31) from the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers with immediate effect. Aberg will make his first appearance for Kloten in Friday's home game against Ajoie.

With the signing of Aberg, Kloten can once again put six foreign players on the match sheet. After the release of top scorer Miro Aaltonen, Kloten only had five healthy imports left: Thomas Grégoire (CAN), Sami Niku (FIN), Daniel Audette (CAN), Jayce Howryluk (CAN) and Niko Ojamäki. Tyler Morley (CAN) is currently injured.
