The hosts from central Switzerland, who increased their lead to 18:14 after the restart, should have emerged victorious. They scored four more times in the final phase, while Kadetten never did. However, no more goals were scored in the final three-and-a-half minutes.
The Kadetten have only dropped points against Kriens-Luzern so far in this championship - in the defeat in the first encounter and now in the draw. They remain the clear leaders. At the other end of the table, Wacker Thun won the basement derby away from home against RTV Basel (27:24), who are bottom of the table.
St. Otmar St. Gallen, who recently managed to escape their predicament with two wins, were unable to hold on to their half-time lead against BSV Bern and lost 28:29 - partly because they missed four seven-meter penalties.
