Zug's head coach Dan Tangnes has to undergo back surgery at the beginning of February, as the club announces. Michael Liniger will replace him as head coach during his convalescence.
This will be the first time that Liniger, who is currently assistant coach, will be able to work as head coach. The 45-year-old was appointed as Tangnes' successor at the end of the year - the Norwegian had asked for an early termination of his contract in November and will work for Rögle in Sweden from next summer.
