Record world champion Johannes Thingnes Bö has had to leave the penultimate stage of his World Cup career early due to illness.
The Norwegian left Pokljuka on Friday with a fever, where a mass start is scheduled for Saturday and a mixed relay on Sunday.
Bö will compete in his last World Cup race next week at the final in Oslo. In the overall World Cup, his gap to his compatriot Sturla Holm Laegreid, who is currently leading by 39 points, will probably increase significantly on Saturday. Three individual races are scheduled in Oslo from March 21.
