The Vancouver Canucks maintain their winning streak in the NHL against the Chicago Blackhawks with a 6-2 win. Pius Suter contributed a goal and an assist to the win.
The Canucks defeated one of their favorite opponents once again. The clear victory in the home arena was the tenth win in a row against the second-worst team in the current championship in terms of points.
Suter was involved in the preliminary decision for the time being on Sunday night. The Zurich native was one of the players behind the 3:0 goal scored by American Conor Garland eight minutes into the second period. Suter provided the final point with his 18th goal of the season midway through the third period. The Blackhawks were once again without the injured Philipp Kuraschew.
Kevin Fiala and Janis Moser were also among the winners. The Los Angeles Kings with Fiala maintained their high against Nashville. The 1-0 overtime win against the Predators, who were again without the injured Roman Josi, was their fifth win in a row. The Tampa Bay Lightning with Moser ended a losing streak with a 6-2 win at the Boston Bruins. The team from Florida had lost its last three games.
