In order to avoid being stopped, two men gave police a chase in Schwyz early on Friday morning. They are suspected of stealing the car in Kerns OW and driving it without a driver's license.

A car with Obwalden license plates was reported to the police on Friday morning, which was driving in an unsafe manner, the Schwyz cantonal police announced on Friday. In addition, two men were observed in Ibach sneaking around the houses and then driving off in the direction of Muotathal in the Obwalden car.

When the police presumably wanted to stop this vehicle in Muotathal, it drove off at excessive speed in the direction of Schwyz. The police later found the car in Schwyz near a farm, but without the occupants. Together with the dog handlers, the police managed to track down and arrest the two men in an adjacent barn.

The two men were a 23-year-old man from Libya and a 29-year-old man from Morocco. They will have to answer to the public prosecutor's office for their alleged crimes.
