Two 17-year-olds were arrested in St. Gallen on Sunday night for spray painting. During the manhunt by the city and cantonal police of St.Gallen, another person managed to escape. One police officer was injured.

According to initial findings, three people sprayed walls in the "Platztor" underpass, as the St. Gallen city police wrote on Saturday. The report was received at 00:30. When the police arrived, however, they were no longer to be found. During the search, three suspicious persons were spotted on Blumenaustrasse by a civilian patrol of the St.Gallen cantonal police.

When they recognized the police officers, they fled, it was reported. Two 17-year-olds were caught up and arrested on Torstrasse. One police officer injured his hand during the arrest. He had to seek medical treatment. The third person is unknown at the moment and is on the run.

The damage to property cannot yet be quantified. The young Swiss men will be reported to the juvenile prosecutor's office of the canton of St.Gallen, it was reported.
