In Campocologno GR, a driver caused a total loss to his vehicle on Friday. He also damaged two other parked cars.

According to initial investigations, a 67-year-old Italian citizen from Brusio GR was driving on the main road towards the national border shortly before 2.30 p.m. on Friday, as reported by the cantonal police of Graubünden on Saturday. At the entrance to Campocologno, he drove into the oncoming lane for reasons that are not yet clear. He then crashed into a metal railing.

He also hit a vehicle parked nearby and pushed it back several meters, according to the statement. This vehicle then collided with a second, also parked car. The 67-year-old man's car was totally damaged. Property damage was also caused to the two parked cars.

The Graubünden cantonal police are investigating the circumstances that led to this traffic accident, according to a statement.
