Traffic accident Cyclist injured in rear-end collision with car in Widnau SG

A racing cyclist sustained undetermined injuries in a rear-end collision with a car in a traffic circle in Widnau SG on Friday afternoon. The 58-year-old was flown to hospital by helicopter, as reported by the St. Gallen cantonal police on Saturday morning.

When entering the traffic circle, a 77-year-old man collided with the rear of the bicycle with his car. Property damage amounting to several hundred francs was caused, the police added.
