Storm No major damage to the A13 bridge in Misox GR

The bridge on the A13 national road in Misox GR did not suffer too much damage due to storms and debris flows. This was the result of an initial evaluation of the structure after a section of the highway collapsed due to flooding.

A spokesperson for the Federal Roads Office (Astra) told the Keystone-SDA news agency on Saturday on request. Further evaluations would follow in order to precisely record the damage.

According to the spokesman, repair work will begin on Monday if conditions permit. No more precise details could be given about the duration of the closure. However, it is clear that the road cannot be repaired in just a few days, the spokesperson explained.
