The Swiss Travel Fund Reka achieved record sales last year. The gross revenue of the group, which is active in the vacation business and payment methods sector, rose to 103.6 million Swiss francs.

This exceeded the previous record figure of 100.3 million francs, which dates back to the coronavirus year 2021. Due to the travel restrictions in place abroad at the time, demand for domestic tourism increased significantly. In subsequent years, sales then fell slightly short of the peak figure.
The vacation business grew by 2.9 percent to CHF 80.9 million. All eleven Swiss Reka vacation villages and resorts achieved a stable result, according to a press release issued on Wednesday. Reka achieved record sales with its Swiss Holiday Park in Morschach.
Demand for vacations in neighboring countries also developed well. Reka's own beach resort Golfo del Sole in Tuscany also reached a new record level, according to the statement.
In the Reka Money division, in which Reka offers vacation and leisure money, among other things, gross revenue rose by 6.3 percent to 22.8 million francs, according to the information provided. The new sustainable mobility budgets Reka-Rail+ were in high demand.
According to the information, around 600,000 Reka-Cards were in circulation at the end of 2024. The sales volume with Reka money amounted to over 505 million francs.
