According to Lebanese authorities, two people have been killed in renewed Israeli airstrikes. According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, three people were also injured in attacks in two villages in the south of the country. The Israeli army did not initially provide any details. Meanwhile, the Lebanese Hezbollah militia claimed to have attacked northern Israel with drones. Both sides have been firing heavily at each other for hours.

During the night, Hezbollah fired dozens of rockets at northern Israel, reaching further than ever before since the Shiite militia began attacking Israel almost a year ago. Most of them were intercepted, according to the Israeli army. Medics in Israel reported several casualties. For its part, the Israeli air force has attacked hundreds of Hezbollah positions in Lebanon since Saturday afternoon, according to its own information.
