Several people have been killed and injured in Ukraine in recent night-time attacks from the air. More than 30 Russian drones were shot down over the capital Kiev, but the falling debris caused destruction in several parts of the city, Kiev's military administration announced on Telegram.

Two people were injured. Fires broke out in five different districts of Kiev as a result of the impacts. Among others, several residential buildings, a restaurant and a medical facility were hit.

Russian airstrikes with glide bombs caused severe destruction in the village of Jampil in the north-eastern Ukrainian region of Sumy. According to the authorities, a 33-year-old woman died as a result of the attacks and another woman was injured. The public prosecutor's office has initiated proceedings for war crimes. The bombs were used against the civilian infrastructure of the urban-type settlement, according to reports.

According to military governor Olexander Prokudin, one person was killed by Russian shelling in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson on the Dnipro River. A 58-year-old woman was also rescued from the rubble, seriously injured.

The port city of Odessa in the south of Ukraine was also once again the target of Russian attacks. The Black Sea metropolis was attacked with drones, according to military governor Oleh Kiper. According to him, a high-rise building was damaged and more than a dozen vehicles destroyed. One man suffered minor injuries. Five other people were receiving psychological treatment due to the shock, he wrote.
