Yverdon celebrate a premiere in the Super League. The Vaud club won 3:2 in Lucerne for the first time.

It was a crazy final phase. In the 91st minute, an own goal from Christian Marques gave Lucerne a 2-2 draw and it looked as though the central Swiss side would score for the third time this season after trailing 2-0. But after Lucerne lost the ball in their own half of the pitch and a goal from Mitchy Ntelo in the 94th minute, the visitors won after all. Yverdon had lost all of their first seven games in Lucerne in Switzerland's top division.

Lucerne's Donat Rrudhani missed the first top chance of the game in the 7th minute. One minute later, Yverdon led 1-0 after Boris Cespedes' fifth goal of the season. Four minutes later, Hugo Komano finished off a counter-attack after a corner kick from the hosts to make it 2-0. The Frenchman caught the poor-looking Lucerne goalkeeper Pascal Loretz in the near corner.

During the second national team break in the Super League, FCL led the standings. Now, after a 2-1 defeat at Young Boys, they have also lost their second game. Yverdon, on the other hand, have picked up ten points in their last four games.
