FC Lugano missed out on the top spot at the end of round 10 with a 2-0 defeat at Yverdon. Winterthur remain bottom of the table, while FC Basel can move up the table.

Lugano had not lost in the Super League since mid-August, but the Ticino side conceded their second defeat of the season at home to Yverdon. The Vaud side are a force at home and won at home for the third time in a row.

As a result, FC Zurich and Servette, who won their derbies against GC and Sion respectively on Saturday, remain in the lead - three and four points respectively ahead of Luzern and Lugano, who are level on points.

FC Basel can also look to the top again. After beating Young Boys 1-0 before the national team break, FCB won 2-1 against St. Gallen. Kevin Carlos scored twice to secure the win in the fifth minute of stoppage time. Basel thus knocked St. Gallen out of 5th place.

Winterthur remain bottom of the table after champions YB handed the red lantern to the Zurich side thanks to a 2-1 win over previous leaders Luzern on Saturday. Winterthur, who were shockingly harmless in offense, lost 0:2 in Lausanne.
