Bundesliga club VfL Bochum has responded to the sporting crisis by dismissing its coach Peter Zeidler with immediate effect.
Bochum picked up just one point in the first seven games of the season. Not enough for Zeidler, who moved to the Ruhr region this season after six years at FC St. Gallen. A successor has not yet been appointed.
