Kerstin Kündig, captain of the Swiss national team, is returning to Switzerland for the coming season and joining GC Amicitia Zurich.

The 31-year-old has signed a two-year contract with last season's championship runners-up.
The woman from the Zurich Oberland is playing abroad for the fifth year, currently in the Bundesliga with Thüringer HC. At the Swiss Handball Awards, Kerstin Kündig was awarded the title of "Swiss Player of the Year" five times (2017, 2020 to 2023).
