Jack Doohan will replace Frenchman Esteban Ocon in the Alpine-Renault at the Formula 1 season finale in Abu Dhabi.
The 21-year-old Australian, previously a reserve driver at Alpine and a regular driver from next season, will make his debut in the premier class at the Yas Marina Circuit. Doohan is the son of five-time motorcycle world champion Mick Doohan.
