Taylor Swift was a guest in London with her "Eras" tour. The concert took place on June 21 - and was attended by royalty! In a packed Wembley Stadium, Prince William and his children were among those who attended Swift's performance.

William dances exuberantly to "Shake It Off", as you can see in the following video from a user on X.

The Prince of Wales is celebrating his 42nd birthday, which he also celebrated on June 21.

His wife Kate was not there, as she is largely staying away from the public eye despite returning to at least one royal duty - "Trooping the Color". She is still undergoing treatment for cancer.

Taylor Swift regularly welcomes celebrity guests to her concerts, and Meghan Markle was also in the audience in Los Angeles in 2023.

Whether William had to get hold of extra tickets with his children is questionable. However, the Royal Guard greeted the US pop star in London with a musical greeting: they played Swift's hit "Shake It Off" outside Buckingham Palace the day before the concert on June 21.

Prince William also knows Swift personally, as they performed together on stage back in 2013. Back then, she accompanied the royal on stage at an event at Kensington Palace, where he performed "Livin' on a Prayer" with Jon Bon Jovi.

He later said: "When I turned up at this annual charity event, there was Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift. That knocked my socks off a bit." Swift pulled him out of the audience and manhandled him onto the stage. William couldn't refuse the offer.
