No time? blue News summarizes for you
- Prince Andrew and Sarah "Fergie" Ferguson married on July 23, 1986 in Westminster Abbey. They divorced in 1996.
- They have two daughters together. Beatrice was born on August 8, 1988, sister Eugenie on March 23, 1990.
- Beatrice and Eugenie describe their parents as "the happiest divorced couple in England". Is a love comeback possible? Sarah "Fergie" Ferguson was recently asked this question.
Prince Andrew is in the middle of a difficult phase in his life. His relationship with his brother, King Charles, has been strained since his involvement in the Epstein scandal.
What's more, there is an ice age. King Charles has cut off Prince Andrew's money and removed him from many engagements.
With the death of Queen Elizabeth II last fall, Prince Andrew is almost on his own. Queen Elizabeth II's second-born son was considered her favorite son.
But the disgraced Prince Andrew does not have to go through life alone. His ex-wife, Sarah "Fergie" Ferguson, is standing by her ex-husband - what's more, the former lovers are getting on famously.
British media report that Princess Beatrice and Eugenie describe their parents as the "happiest divorced couple in England".
Now English newspapers are speculating whether the former lovers will make a comeback. Is a second wedding even possible? Sarah Ferguson was recently asked this question about her relationship status by an English newspaper.
Is there a love comeback between Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson?
Sarah Ferguson was asked exactly that by an editor of the British newspaper "Daily Mail".
The journalist wanted to know whether there was a chance of marriage number two between her and Prince Andrew.
Sarah Ferguson is amused by the speculation about a second wedding: "I get that question all the time," says Sarah Ferguson and continues: "But no, we're not getting married again. We're happy the way we are now."
But who knows, perhaps a rekindling of the old love fire cannot be completely ruled out. After all, they have been living in the Royal Lodge in Windsor since 2003. Sarah Ferguson recently explained the special living situation as follows: "We enjoy each other's company. We allow each other to blossom. I know it sounds like a fairy tale, but that's how it is."
