The decision to release a children's album may come as a surprise to many, but for Fischer it was a project close to her heart. In a press statement, she explained that it was important to her to preserve classic children's songs such as 'Bruder Jakob' and 'Weisst du wieviel Sternlein stehen', as they are part of the German cultural heritage. She has reinterpreted these songs in her own version, which has given her great pleasure.

With her new album, Fischer is now addressing a younger audience, but hopes that the parents and grandparents of her fans will also enjoy it. She emphasizes that the songs can evoke memories of her own childhood and thus have a cross-generational effect.
