Dan Tangnes and EV Zug are going their separate ways this summer. It is now clear where the 45-year-old Norwegian is heading: Tangnes will sign a three-year contract with his home club Rögle BK.
This was confirmed by the Swedish club, where Tangnes once went through the youth department and later became head coach.
Tangnes' time in Zug will come to an end in the summer after seven years. After a long wait, the coach led the Central Swiss club back to the top of the national league. In 2021 and 2022, EVZ won the Swiss championship title twice in a row under Tangnes, while the 2019 Cup victory was Zug's first title in 21 years.
