The ZSC Lions have signed an eighth foreigner, the American Chase De Leo, as announced in a press release.
This is the Swiss champions' reaction to the prolonged absence of Latvia's Rudolf Balcers due to an ankle injury. The 29-year-old forward De Leo has spent the majority of his career to date in the AHL, where he produced 365 points (143 goals) in 527 games. This season, he played nine games for Barys Astana in the KHL.
