The 21-year-old from Lausanne, Camille Losserand, finished the World Tour in kitesurfing in 3rd place.
The tour with stops in Cape Verde, Sylt, Morocco and Brazil is regarded as the world championship. Camille Losserand started the season with a 3rd place in Cape Verde, came second in Sylt and finished 5th twice in the final events. Only France's Capucine Delannoy and Brazil's Kesiane Rodrigues finished ahead of the Swiss rider.
A year ago, Losserand won the Big Air Kitesurfing World Championships; before that, she took gold at the Junior World Championships.
