Czech Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova announced on Sunday that she will not play in the Australian Open (January 12-26) due to a back injury.

"Unfortunately, my back injury, which hampered me at the end of last season, has not yet fully healed," explained the world number ten on X.
Krejcikova won the title at Wimbledon last year, three years after lifting the trophy at Roland Garros.
