Swiss bobsleigh pilot Michael Vogt is starting the season late. The 26-year-old from Schwyz underwent an operation around seven weeks ago due to a herniated disc.

"The plan at the moment is to make a comeback in January; if everything goes perfectly, it could even be possible a little earlier," the 2023 World Championship bronze medal winner in the two-man bobsleigh told Swiss television. The World Cup season starts on December 7 in Altenberg.
