The Swiss women's duos taking part in the Olympic Games in Paris know their opponents in the group phase.
According to the draw, Esmée Böbner and Zoé Vergé-Dépré will play in Group D against the Canadians Melissa Humana-Paredes and Brandie Wilkerson, the Latvians Tina Graudina and Anastasija Samoilova and Michelle Valiente/Giuliana Poletti from Paraguay.
Tanja Hüberli and Nina Brunner will be up against France's Lézana Placette and Alexia Richard, Spain's Daniela Mendoza and Tania Moreno and Germany's Laura Ludwig and Louisa Lippmann in Group F.
The 24 teams are divided into six groups of four. The best two teams in each group and the best four third-placed teams qualify for the round of 16.
Switzerland is not represented in the men's tournament.
