Pius Suter and the Vancouver Canucks win 2-0 at the Boston Bruins in the NHL and continue their upward trend.
Jake DeBrusk, the former Boston player, scored the golden goal in the duel between the two ninth-placed teams in the Eastern and Western Conference in the 26th minute on the power play. The Canucks were extremely efficient at Boston's TD Garden, recording just 15 shots on goal in the game.
Meanwhile, their Finnish goalie Kevin Lankinen saved 32 shots for his second shutout of the season. Pius Suter played just under 17 minutes for Vancouver and delivered his fourth assist of the season on Conor Garland's goal into the empty net in the final minute.
It is the Canucks' second win in a row and seventh in the last eleven games. The Canucks have been particularly brilliant on the road of late, celebrating their eighth win in a row in Boston. They are still one win short of the club record from 2011.
