The last European Cup downhill races of this winter have to be canceled. In Kvitfjell in Norway, strong winds prevented them from taking place.
Livio Hiltbrand won the men's discipline classification ahead of Alessio Miggiano. Both Swiss racers thus secured a fixed starting place in next season's World Cup downhill races. Gaël Zulauf narrowly missed out on this goal. In fourth place, he finished one point behind Austria's Felix Hacker.
In the final women's downhill classification, Janine Schmitt was the best-placed Swiss racer in sixth place.
