With a time of 1:11:35 hours, the 34-year-old from the Zurich Oberland was 46 seconds faster on the undulating course than when she finished 8th a year ago.
The form is therefore right for the European Road Running Championships in Brussels on April 12/13, where Schlumpf will once again compete over 21.1 km. Her Swiss record in the half marathon has stood at 1:08:27 for the past four years.
