There has been a player swap in the National League. Canadian Chris DiDomenico is moving from Fribourg-Gottéron to Ambri-Piotta, while Swede Jakob Lilja is going the other way around.
The 35-year-old DiDomenico returned to Fribourg from Bern in 2023, but has not gotten off to the desired start so far this season with two goals and seven assists in 16 games. The same goes for the 31-year-old Lilja in his second season with Ambri. He had to settle for one assist in eleven games. The trade should lead to both returning to their former strength.
