Nine Swiss athletes - five men and four women - have qualified for Tuesday's knockout runs at the Ski Cross World Cup in Arosa.
Saskja Lack impressed with the best time, Fanny Smith, who has already stood on the podium eight times in the Grisons resort (four victories), came 5th in the qualification. Talina Gantenbein was tenth and Natalie Schär secured the last ticket for the quarter-finals in sixteenth place.
In the men's event, 32 riders reached the knockout rounds. Noah Lubasch (10th), Ryan Regez (12th) and Tobias Baur (13th) managed this with ease, Alex Fiva (26th) and Marc Bischofberger (30th) had to tremble a little more.
The start is on Tuesday evening on a modified, more spectacular course at 8.15 pm.
