Nadine Fähndrich is withdrawing from the sprint in Lillehammer due to a cold.
The athlete from Lucerne is traveling back to Switzerland ahead of schedule to prepare for the World Cup weekend in Davos, which kicks off with a team sprint next Friday evening. The sprint will follow on Saturday and a 20-km race on Sunday.
The Swiss team leader can look back on a moderately successful start to the season. Last weekend in Kuusamo, she got stuck in the quarter-finals in the sprint and in the 20-km race with mass start she had to drop out early.
