Loïc Meillard will be competing in the first slalom of the World Cup winter on Sunday in Levi, Finland.
The Frenchman feels ready to compete again following the spinal disc injury that prevented him from taking part in the giant slalom in Sölden three weeks ago.
"At the moment I'm taking it day by day - and to be there on Sunday is already a victory for me and shows that we've worked well in recent weeks," Loïc Meillard says via Swiss-Ski on X.
