HC Davos has prematurely extended the contract with its head coach Josh Holden until 2027. The 46-year-old led the team to the playoffs in his first season.

HC Davos has announced that the contract with their head coach Josh Holden has been extended by two years, tying him to the club until the end of the 2026-27 season. This decision was announced by the record champions on Tuesday.

Josh Holden, who holds both Swiss and Canadian citizenship, has been head coach at HCD for a year. In his first season, he managed to lead the team from Graubünden into the playoffs. Before his time in Davos, Holden had been assistant to Dan Tangnes at EV Zug since 2018. During his active playing career, he was on the ice for Fribourg-Gottéron, the SCL Tigers and EV Zug, among others.
