Gregor Deschwanden jumps onto the World Cup podium in Wisla for the third time in his career. The 33-year-old from Lucerne was only narrowly beaten in Poland by Austria's Daniel Tschofenig.

Deschwanden improved by two places in the second run. He was 1.4 points short of his first victory. The 22-year-old Tschofenig thus achieved his victory premiere. Third place went to the German Pius Paschke.

With three top 10 places in the first four World Cup jumps, Deschwanden had already shown his strong form in recent weeks.
