Lang as the preferred solution in Wil
Lang was the Challenge League club's preferred solution. "Our board member Fabian Schär has known Michael Lang for many years and has gotten to know him as someone who not only has an exceptional understanding of football, but also fits in perfectly with us as a person. His experience and his character will give our club new impetus. It is a stroke of luck for us to have Michael as Jan's successor," Wii President Maurice Weber is quoted as saying in the press release.
Lang is also delighted about his move to FC Wil: "It is a great honor to take on this role. FC Wil 1900 has an excellent foundation and a lot of potential. I'm looking forward to developing the team further and continuing Jan Breitenmoser's successful work. We have big plans and I am convinced that we can successfully shape the club's sporting future together."
