Germany win 2:1 at Bosnia-Herzegovina in League A of the Nations League. As the Netherlands only managed a 1-1 draw in Hungary, they are two points clear at the top of Group 3.

Deniz Undav is a newcomer to the German national team. On Friday evening, the VfB Stuttgart player played only his fifth international match against Hungary in Budapest. But after half an hour, the 28-year-old showed that he is already an important part of Julian Nagelsmann's team with his finishing qualities. After a long ball from Robert Andrich, Florian Wirtz laid the ball perfectly into the striker's feet, who had no trouble scoring his second international goal.

And just six minutes later, Undav was on hand again. This time he converted a perfect cross from his Stuttgart team-mate Maximilian Mittelstädt to make it 2:0. The Bosnians, who started with Adrian Barisic from FC Basel and Nikola Katic from FC Zurich in defence, got into the game better in the second half. But even after veteran star Edin Dzeko scored the equalizer from a corner kick (71'), the Germans were no longer able to really shake.

Dumfries rescues a point for the Dutch

The win lifted them to the top of Group 3, as the Netherlands had to make do with a 1-1 draw against Hungary, although the Oranje should have been satisfied with the one point. The Magyars took the lead after half an hour through Roland Sallai, and when Virgil van Dijk was sent off ten minutes before the end after receiving two yellow cards within a short space of time, there was no longer much to be said for the favored Dutch. However, Denzel Dumfries equalized in the 83rd minute to prevent Ronald Koeman's team from suffering their first defeat in this year's Nations League.
