Debora Annen sniffs her first podium finish in the Bobsleigh World Cup in St. Moritz. The 22-year-old from Schwyz comes fifth in the monobob.
Annen was in third place after the first run, but in the second run the Junior World Champion lost two positions and missed her first podium in the World Cup by just three hundredths. She even came fourth in Winterberg at the beginning of the month, but missed the podium by 13 hundredths.
Melanie Hasler, who finished second in Winterberg and made it onto the World Cup podium in the monobob for the first time, finished in 8th place after a botched first run.
For once, there was a podium without any Germans. American Elana Meyers Taylor won ahead of Australian Breanna Walker and Kaysha Love, another US pilot.
