Dominique Aegerter has signed a contract with Yamaha for 2025 and will therefore continue to compete in the Superbike World Championship despite a difficult season.

Dominique Aegerter will continue to ride in the Superbike World Championship in 2025. The 34-year-old rider from Bern has extended his contract with the GRT Yamaha team for a further year. Aegerter recently experienced a difficult year in sporting terms. After an accident in training on his mountain bike, in which the rider from Oberaargau injured his shoulder and suffered several broken ribs, he is still on the road to recovery. Last weekend in Estoril, after a six-week absence, he finished an impressive 13th and 14th.
