The Aargau cantonal police confiscated the driving licenses of four motorcyclists on the spot in Erlinsbach AG on Saturday. According to the police report, they were travelling at speeds of between 99 and 110 kilometers per hour on an out-of-town stretch of road.

Since this summer, the speed limit on the stretch of road over the Salhöhe has been 60 km/h, as the Aargau cantonal police reported.

In addition to the four motorcyclists who had to surrender their driving licenses on the spot and were reported to the public prosecutor's office, the police also stopped a female motorcyclist who was traveling at 95 km/h. She was allowed to continue, but according to the police, she is also threatened with having her driver's license revoked by the road traffic authorities.

A 25-year-old skateboarder was recently fatally injured on the mountain route over the Salhöhe. On August 19, there was a head-on collision between the skateboarder and an oncoming car.
