Tax allegations Searches at Netflix in Paris and Amsterdam

The offices of streaming giant Netflix in Paris and Amsterdam have been searched due to tax allegations. Financial investigators and anti-corruption investigators scrutinized the company's headquarters in France.

Other, unspecified locations were also searched. The raids took place as part of investigations into Netflix on suspicion of concealing tax fraud and illegal employment.

At the same time as the raids in France, Dutch investigators searched Netflix's headquarters in Amsterdam, as the German press agency Deutsche Presse-Agentur learned from judicial circles in Paris. The preliminary investigations against the video streaming market leader have been ongoing since November 2022. Exact details were not yet known.
