Miscellaneous Seven St. Bernard puppies born at the Fondation Barry

Seven St. Bernard puppies were born last week at the Barry Foundation in Martigny VS. Their parents are the soon to be four-year-old short-haired female "Finesse du Grand St. Bernard" and the long-haired male "Elias du Grand St. Bernard".

The puppies - four males and three females - are in perfect health, Fondation Barry announced on Tuesday. "Finesse, who is an exemplary mother, as we saw last year, is taking excellent care of her litter," it continued.

All the puppies will have a pedigree and names beginning with the letter U. Both parents of the puppies were also born, socialized and trained at Fondation Barry. The stud dog Elias currently lives in Belgium.

Barryland is currently closed due to work on the theme park, which is due to open next summer. However, the puppies' development can be followed online via the webcam installed by the foundation.
