Mühlebach has been an integral part of Keystone-SDA for 24 years. In 2018, he took over as head of the sports editorial team before assuming responsibility for the "Content Development" division in August 2022. In this role, he played a key role in shaping the further development of the agency.
"Sandro Mühlebach combines comprehensive knowledge of agency services, in-depth journalistic expertise and many years of management experience. This makes him the ideal choice for this position," said Federico Bragagnini, Editor-in-Chief of Keystone-SDA, in the press release issued on Friday.
"I am very much looking forward to this new challenge and to working with the entire editorial team to further develop our services. Our goal remains to provide our customers with content of the usual quality on a daily basis," said Mühlebach about his new role.
With the appointment of Mühlebach, the editorial team is now complete: Laurent Gilliéron will take over as Head of Visual from February 1, 2025, while Federico Bragagnini has been Editor-in-Chief since November 1 of last year. The head of the "Content Development" division, which will become vacant following Mühlebach's move, is to be filled in the near future.
