Queen Camilla (77) has to miss another appointment following her respiratory infection. The wife of the British King Charles III had missed several appearances this month due to the infection.

According to the British news agency PA, a spokesperson for Buckingham Palace said that she was still experiencing some symptoms. Doctors had therefore advised her to rest after a week of appointments.

It is with great regret that she will not be attending the Royal Variety Performance charity show tonight as planned, the palace said. British music stars Elton John and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, among others, are due to perform at the event in London's Royal Albert Hall.

Camilla had already canceled several appointments due to the infection. For example, she missed Remembrance Sunday, which commemorates those who died in the Great War in the UK. However, she had recently been traveling again. PA quoted a source close to the royal family as saying that the Queen hopes to be able to return to her royal duties at full strength soon.
