Private prosecutors and victims had their say on Monday in the case of the murder of an Egyptian diplomat in Geneva in 1995. The Federal Criminal Court questioned a former girlfriend of the main defendant. She accused him of rape and deprivation of liberty.

A colleague of this woman also testified. He was threatened by the defendant and pushed down a flight of stairs. In their questioning by the criminal chamber of the Federal Criminal Court, two friends of the accused told how the accused threatened and beat them. In one case, there is also an allegation of rape.
The car salesman, who has already been convicted in France and Switzerland, is charged with murder, several rapes, simple assault, threats, depictions of violence and pornography. He also has to answer for various financial offenses. His 49-year-old co-defendant is facing charges of accessory to murder.
