Following the plane crash in South Korea, Acting President Choi Sang Mok has declared a seven-day period of national mourning. It is to last until next Saturday, the Yonhap news agency reported. Choi Sang Mok said: "We extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families of those who lost their lives in this unexpected tragedy." The plane carrying 181 passengers crashed on Sunday morning (local time) while landing at Muan Airport. 179 people died.
