Lilli Schweiger (26), daughter of actor Til Schweiger, says she came out of her carpentry apprenticeship stronger than before. "This experience has boosted my self-confidence and it is very rewarding to see what you have created with your own hands at the end," she told the Bild newspaper in Berlin. Nevertheless, she doesn't think her acting career is over. "I'm always open to new exciting projects," she explained. Nevertheless, she would like to "continue working as a carpenter".

According to Schweiger, she started her apprenticeship in Berlin in August 2020. "I just love being able to create something with my own hands," she said at the time. In recent years, she has concentrated fully on this, she said now. "I have successfully completed it and enjoy helping my family and friends." She put her Instagram account on hold during her time out. "I needed time for myself. When I feel like it again, I'll post something again."

Lilli Schweiger had her first film role in 2007 in the movie "Keinohrhasen", which her father directed and starred in, among others. Most recently, she was in front of the camera for her father's movie "The Wedding", which was released in German cinemas in 2020.
